Freeman announces executive appointment and strengthens HR team

 

Steve Comar[7970]littleFreeman has  announced two new appointments in EMEA. Steve Comar has been promoted to the Executive Team as director of operations, meanwhile Gillian Brackenbury-Peace joins as talent development advisor, heading up talent development for Freeman in EMEA.

Comar joined Freeman in EMEA as graphics director in September 2014, and has been instrumental in developing the graphics department in that time. The new role is effective immediately, and Comar will work alongside outgoing director of operations, David Pilinski, until the end of the year.

Brackenbury-Peace brings eight years’ experience in talent development to the newly created role, and was most recently employed as Learning & Development Project Manager at Whitbread Restaurants, the umbrella company of renowned brands such as Premier Inn and Costa.

Her key responsibilities will include identifying and implementing strategic learning initiatives to support talent development and business growth across the business, and developing partnerships with colleges and universities in the regions where Freeman has offices.Gillian Brackenbury-Peace[7971]little

Comar said: “It’s with great pleasure that I take on this new chapter in my career here at Freeman in EMEA. In my role as Director of Operations I’ll be working with departments across the business to drive efficiencies and ensure we are agile and adaptable to ever-changing market dynamics and leading the industry with innovative solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations.”

Brackenbury-Peace added: “I am very excited to have joined Freeman at such a pivotal time in its nearly 90-year history. I look forward to working alongside the talent and HR teams both in EMEA and the U.S. to leverage my experience and implement various new processes and partnerships across the business.”
