intu launches Christmas grotto activity in partnership with Playmobil

The 100,000 children expected to be reached by the commercial brand partnership can look forward to meeting some larger than life Playmobil figures as well as Santa and will leave with a Playmobil gift.
Each intu grotto will also have its own unique theme, from discovery lodges to winter wonderlands and polar expeditions.
Jamie Dickinson, Playmobil marketing manager, comments, “We’re really excited to be taking this opportunity to visit intu shopping centres throughout the UK, and bringing children a special Playmobil experience this Christmas.”
Trevor Pereira, intu’s commercial director, said: “Thanks to intu’s nationwide scale and consumer facing brand, we’ve been able to team up with one of the world’s best known toy manufacturers to make our Christmas grottos must-visit destinations for families over the festive season. We can’t wait for children to see what we have in store.”

- intu Trafford Centre, from November 7th
- intu Braehead, from November 9th
- intu Merry Hill, from November 10th
- intu Metrocentre, from November 12th
- intu Lakeside, from November 13th
- intu Watford, from November 14th
- intu Derby, from November 14th
- intu Broadmarsh, from November 18th
