Motion People launches with quality-focused USPs

Motion People, a new UK promotional staffing agency, has launched with a deliberately different model: standards over scale. Rather than competing on the size of its database, Motion keeps a curated pool of staff, everyone properly vetted, assessed and approved before they represent a client. The agency is part of Five Star Enterprise Group (FSEG), which has supplied crew, security and training to the UK live events industry for over 12 years, and has already delivered its first campaign for a Group client.
Motion is led by co-founder and director Jordan Simpson, who previously launched, grew and sold promotional staffing agency BM Promotions, and by co-founder Ed Driver, CEO of Five Star Enterprise Group. FSEG has spent more than 12 years supplying specialist crew, security and training to agencies, brands, production companies and venues across the UK. That backing gives a new agency mature infrastructure, national coverage and a compliance-first culture from day one.
Motion supplies brand ambassadors, promotional and event staff, hospitality and sampling teams, event managers and more, for conferences, festivals, exhibitions, product launches, brand activations and roadshows. Though only recently launched, the agency already has its next booking in the diary.
Jordan Simpson, co-founder and director of Motion People, said: “Clients do not buy event staff, they buy confidence. Motion exists to give them that. Fewer people, a higher standard, and a team we can genuinely stand behind. The response to our first campaign tells us there is real appetite for doing this properly.”
Ed Driver, co-founder of Motion People and CEO of FSEG, said: “Motion is a natural extension of everything Five Star Enterprise Group stands for. We have spent more than a decade building a reputation for doing things properly for our clients, and Motion applies that same discipline to promotional staffing. It is quality-led and compliance-first, and it fits the group perfectly. Backing Jordan to launch it was an easy decision.”
