FMBE Symposium, 25th May, Tobacco Dock has teamed up with Kru Talent International to cover FMBE Symposium in a unique way – using a speed artist called Sam the Portrait Illustrator. Sam will draw the event as it unfolds and FMBE will show off the pictures in series following it for our prin and online readers.
Event director Frank Wainwright comments: “Working so closely with brand experience agencies and clients means that we try to look at our event through their eyes and make it much more engaging and experiential than an ordinary conference. ‘Symposium’ implies a convivial information exchange, one where reaction, response and participation are to the fore. I wanted to capture that in a special way and can now do so, using Sam’s exceptional talent.”
“One day, watching a court room artist I thought, those artists are really talented and great at capturing the emotion of the day – without requiring news followers to wade through hours of footage. With Sam on board, we can cover our event stop-motion style. We think Sam will be a true event participant, someone who will give the event personality and get great angles on our speakers and guests.”
“Finding the right artist for this brief was a challenge but fortunately our preferred talent providers, Kru Talent International were able to find a very talented artist for us.”
“Kru Talent International has partnered with FMBE Awards for many years, providing performers and has also brought us Climb Online founder and 2014 winner of The Apprentice, Mark Wright, as a keynote speaker for this year’s FMBE Symposium.”
