St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden is supporting the capital’s Pride celebrations and launched a new pop-up store, Choose Love x Pride in London, at 9 Mercer Street, from June 29th until July 7th.

The Choose Love x Pride in London store was founded by Help Refugees in order to raise funds for LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers. The store sells just one T-shirt, featuring an iconic rainbow coloured ‘Choose Love’ logo designed exclusively for Help Refugees by British fashion designer and icon, Katharine Hamnett.

Simon Taylor, Property Director of The Mercers’ Company, commented on behalf of Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and The Mercers’ Company: “We are proud to be supporting the Help Refugees charity as it is in conjunction with such a major event in London. The launch of the Choose Love x Pride in London pop-up store was a great success and we are thrilled to bring the fun and colour of Pride to St. Martin’s Courtyard and Mercer Walk for everyone to experience.”

In the week leading up to the Pride Parade in London on the 7th of July, a range of events will take place in the Choose Love x Pride in London store, including multi-coloured makeovers from Smashbox and a free rainbow cocktail with the purchase of a main course at Bills in St. Martin’s Courtyard and Mercer Walk.
