The 21st Birthday FMBE Awards opens for more history making

This year’s A-Z of categories

Now in their 21st year the FMBE Awards 2025 are open to entry from today, with entry deadline closing on 19th September 2025.

The awards were the very first to specifically recognise field and experiential marketing and have led the way for recognition in those sales and marketing disciplines since they started in 2004.

This year the awards will celebrate their rich history with an awards night that will take an unashamedly nostalgic look back at the history makers in our midst.

Frank Wainwright, Awards Director says: “When we first started out with such a big bang in 2004, people told me FMBE Awards would define a whole generation of sales and marketing. I didn’t quite dare to believe it then, but it has turned out to be essentially true. Now we are 21 years old and in that time the best of the best still prove themselves each year with FMBE. Now seems a great time to look back as well as forwards – we will make our 2025 Awards –  and the build up to them –  a trip down memory lane, naming some of our most outstanding teams, events and campaigns along the way.

I am so grateful to the agencies, the clients and the suppliers who have come with us on our journey and made each of our annual events feel so special. Progress has been relentless.”

The awards have stayed relevant through the years by moving with the times and this year is no different, with 2025’s categories allowing the latest innovations to thrive. Recent consultation with the industry at our BEst Connected networking event has seen categories updated – for instance to include practical AI or the benefits of collaboration.

Frank adds: “At BEst Connected we were told time and again that FMBE has been a game changer for championing industry standards. It was very heart warming to hear.  FMBE exists to make the whole industry collectively better, stronger and more investible.”

“I look forward to seeing the 2025 entries.”

FMBE Award entries can be sent in any time from now.
