Turbo drive brought alive by psLIVE

Turbo, the Dreamworks Animation snail who has been starring in an eponymous family film distributed by 20th Century Fox this month has been brought to life by psLIVE.

In the film, the snail dreams of being a top racer and in life he is just that. Turbo has been built around a 1500cc superbike and is a 150mph racing snail,

Turbo’s ongoing tour was first seen at Goodwood Festival of Speed, where he took part in the world famous hill climb. As any star racer should he also had his own enclosure. Guests could meet Turbo, try out the Turbo computer game, watch the film trailer, and get their hands on lots of Turbo goodies.

A co-branded outreach programme has been used to advance publicise Turbo’s presence.  This has included updates, photos and film clips on Fox and partner social media channels; Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. The content showed Turbo as he ‘prepared’ for each event and continued during events e.g. footage from a Go-pro camera on-board as Turbo raced around.
