We Are Collider launches We Are Group as it takes up stakes in Seven and Arq

We Are Collider, the brand experience agency whose clients include Red Bull, Riot Games and Waitrose, has formed the We Are Group, in response to client demand for more culturally intelligent, behaviour-based communications across IRL and IVL activations.
The investment in Seven Communications (the cultural relevance PR agency headed by former Freuds Directors, Caroline Wray and Serge Vaezi) and Arq (an innovation lab specialising in XR and Web3, headed by Metaverse pioneer, Charlotte Bunyan) will bring together specialist partners and capabilities to span content, experience design and behavioural science.
We Are Collider’s experiential expertise and behavioural science frameworks will merge with Seven Communications’ cultural intelligence and earned media expertise, and Arq’s innovation in the field of immersive experiences. The end result will deliver experience campaigns that are more effectively amplified and unified across different realities.
The new deal with Seven Communications has already resulted in notable collaborations on pitches for two global clients. Meanwhile, the We Are Group’s investment in Arq has resulted in the innovation lab working across several new client accounts and partnering with leading behavioural scientist and Sunday Times best-selling author, Patrick Fagan, to create a roadmap that helps brands unlock the full potential of XR and Web3.
The group will work between their Bermondsey and Soho offices and have an annual revenue in excess of £12-million.
We Are Group CEO, Anton Jerges, said: “We Are Collider’s current expertise lies predominantly in live and digital experiences. Recognising that these shouldn’t exist in silos, I’ve been investigating ways of enhancing our campaigns through earned media amplification and emerging technologies. To this end, the We Are Group will identify and nurture agencies that can complement our activations and further merge the live, digital and virtual worlds. We Are Collider experienced growth of over 200% since 2021, and this has given us the luxury of being able to fund new investments.”
Seven Communications MD, Caroline Wray, added: “We are thrilled to join the We Are Group – united by our shared ambition to embed brands into culture through behavioural insights and creativity. Being part of the We Are Group will enable us to extend the scale of our work across events and experiences whilst harnessing the power of Web3.”
Arq’s Co-Founder, Charlotte Bunyan, said: “With support from the We Are Group, Arq cuts through the hype and jargon of immersive tech with an insight-backed framework that helps re-imagine brand stories across an ever-expanding playing field of realities: physical, digital and virtual. Arq is now better placed to inspire brands to transcend the ordinary; reshaping possibilities, and creating stories that come alive in dazzling, unforgettable dimensions.”
