Photo Review: A flypast at The Pink Picnic with Moxy

Last weekend, FMBE paid a flying visit to see Moxy Hotels engage with the celebration at Salford Pride’s Pink Picnic.
The promotion, a small footprint trailer offering competitions, glitterovers and instant print photos was a pleasing hit in the June sunshine. The experience was created by Ignis and was attached to a small but very lovable Pride event.
It also gave us a chance to meet the Moxy greeters whilst looking ahead to bright and sunny season of festivals for brand experience makers, including a large number of vibrant Pride promotions.
This was a great experience to witness. At FMBE we often get invited to the big occasion for the big brand whereas here we were wintnessing a big brand using it local connections via its Manchester City property, to relax and engage with a special local event.
The Pink Picnic is a festival day out which didn’t have any huge headliners, nor need them to create and deliver on a sunshine and ice cream blessed day celebrating equality.
A continual but manageable queue for the glitterovers showed that Moxy had pitched their presence about right and agency Ignis had the brand connecting well with the festival-goers.
