Popcorn has been appointed by The British Honey Company as its consumer PR agency across its extensive collection of award-winning spirits brands.
Upmarket spirits and honey supplier, The British Honey Company, is home to an impressive portfolio, spanning gin, rum, bourbon, vodka, ready to drink hard seltzers and low alcohol gin and tonic.
Expanding last year through the acquisition of the London Distillery Company (Dodd’s Organic Gin, Rye and Single Malt Whiskeys), the company kicked off 2021 with the merger of Union Distillers in a transformational deal.
Raising brand profile and all-year-round relevance for The British Honey Company, Popcorn’s people power approach to generating authentic brand advocacy will see a strategic PR programme that connects The British Honey Company to a breadth of audiences. Insight led activity will harness trends and tap into cultural cues and seasonality, shining a spotlight on The British Honey Company’s expertise, innovation and values.
Brooke Wiseman, Marketing Director at The British Honey Company, comments: “Popcorn’s creativity and commercial understanding combined with their passion and energy impressed us as a senior team. We feel confident that they are a great partner for our business as we enter this exciting phase of our growth trajectory.”
Popcorn founder, Louise Lloyd, comments: “The British Honey Company is an incredibly impressive and understatedly sophisticated business, we can’t wait to tell their story. In addition to over 275 hives of their own and award-winning distillery facilities, they are pioneers in the provenance and traceability of honey, which incredibly is the world’s third most adulterated product. They have such credible permission to lead the increasingly popular craft spirit movement with their stunning portfolio, and we are delighted to be their partner’.
