Corporate Innovations wins product launch award for sales training roadshow

Corporate Innovations won Best Product Launch at the prestigious C&IT Awards on Friday 27 September 2013.

The organisation was nominated for its work on the Westcoast Mobile Lab Windows 8 Roadshow.  The roadshow which has been travelling the length and breadth of the United Kingdom has been visiting Westcoast’s reseller partners educating them about Microsoft’s Windows 8 and HP products.

“The task seemed simple: merely train 1500 computer reseller staff on new Microsoft and HP products over the course of the year.  However, knowing the reseller community, I knew it was going to be a challenge!” said Alex Tatham, Westcoast’s sales and marketing director.

“Given Ghostbusters weren’t available, I called Corporate Innovations who had always proved so reliable in the past and with their help, we managed to take the training to our customers with a fully specified, double decker bus with presentation facilities, product samples and qualified trainers across the country.  Parking in customers’ car parks with short training sessions allowed over 2000 staff to be trained within the time period allotted.  Corporate Innovations managed the project professionally and completely and I am delighted that they and this wonderful campaign have been recognised at the C&IT Awards.  We could not have achieved our targets without them.”

Gareth Baldwin, sales director at Corporate Innovations added, “It’s been a real privilege to be recognised by our industry peers on this project. We are very lucky to be able to work with Westcoast across a range of projects and they’ve always given us great scope to be free with our ideas, wherever possible pushing boundaries and making them standout in the distributor community. The project was an enormous logistical and technical challenge, however the team at Corporate Innovations really stepped up to the plate and I’m delighted that the results are there to be seen and recognised”.
