Gorilla adds Airstream motorhome and 7 metre trailer to hire fleet

Gorilla Marketing & Events has added two new corporate hospitality assets to its hire fleet, a 7 m event trailer and a classic Airstream motorhome, all in readiness for this summer’s festivities.

Gorilla MD Andy Butts said: “We are aware that the sheer number of celebrations taking place in 2012 will stretch everyone’s event hire resources, so we have invested in two easy to deploy event assets, and they are already receiving quite a bit of interest.”

“The classic aluminium Airstream motorhome is an iconic vehicle with its curves and polished metal exterior. The Airstream is currently undergoing the final touches following a full restoration and upgrade to make it a very desirable event vehicle. Now mechanically sound and running sweet, it has been completely rewired and had all of its internal woodwork replaced, and the all important stereo and sound systems are installed and pumping,” added Butts.

The Airstream will undergo a final internal respray and full eight day and two person exterior clean and polish, along with the completion of its full interior reupholster, during the next couple of days.

The 7 m trailer has sliding sides, and has swing round graphic panels fitted to its exterior and a full length, roof-mounted, lift up header display board. It has both a front staircase and wheel chair access, and is equipped with full sound and AV equipment, heating and aircon, which makes it a true 365-day a year trailer. Fully deployed it has a footprint of 11 m x 6 m and takes just two hours to install, including the technical set up for its internal AV system. If it has to be left on site, it can be fully secured for overnight shut down with minimal effort. Gorilla can deliver, set up and remove both vehicles from the site if required.

“This summer promises to be very busy for those with event vehicles and trailers as venues become booked up and people turn to mobile solutions. We will be announcing further additions to our hire fleet as spring progresses,” concluded Butts.
