Pavegen puts London’s experiential agencies through their paces

Pavegen has launched a week-long energy battle from 16-20th January 2017 to see which of London’s top creative agencies are the fittest and most energetic. The #Step2Start competition will see Imagination, MKTG, CSM, Undercurrent and Wunderman going head-to-head to win a month’s supply of ChicP healthy hummus pots made from surplus vegetables.

With a vision of making cities and workspaces increasingly sustainable, Pavegen has supplied and installed energy generating LED modules within the five agencies to inspire employees to think about energy and get them moving in 2017. Through the #Step2Start campaign, energy creation has been transformed into a fun and gamified solution to climate change within cities, aiming to shift perceptions of renewable energy within the built environment.

The five agencies will compete to see who can burn off the most Christmas pudding – the more energy they generate, the more the digital Christmas pudding on the screen will reduce. After the time is up, the software will reveal how much energy each individual has generated.

A daily breakdown of the scores is published on Pavegen’s social media for all to see, via the hashtag #Step2Start.

Archie Wilkinson, head of Pavegen LIVE, the experiential branch of Pavegen, comments: “We are super excited to kick start the year with our #Step2Start energy battle between some of London’s best creative talent. We want the activation to inspire people to see their individual impact they can make, encourage a healthy lifestyle and get clients thinking about simple ways to engage and educate their audiences.”
