Produce UK appoints Neil Mortimer as new head of event-making

Artistic event-making and placemaking agency Produce UK has appointed Neil Mortimer, ex-head of production at Cake Group (HSE Cake), to the newly created role of head of event-making. The role has been created to handle the breadth of brand and production work flowing through the agency, alongside the fast-growing placemaking arm of the business.

Mortimer has previously worked on campaigns including the live-streamed gig over the Atlantic as part of the #flightdecks campaign for Virgin Atlantic and EE’s involvement at Glastonbury in 2015 and 2016. He also led a series of launch events for Rihanna and River Island, and continues to be deeply involved in the development of innovations in location-based technology and real time marketing data.

Mortimer said, head of event-making at Produce UK comments: “I’m delighted to be joining an incredibly creative, agile and award-winning team. I’m on a mission to quantify the effects of experiential. At the centre of which must be compelling live experiences that require ambitious minds and ground-breaking creative.”
