Following on from the success of last year’s ‘You’re Forgetful When You’re Hungry’ Valentine’s Day campaign, Snickers and agency AMV BBDO created another experiential stunt for forgetful consumers. Snickers came to the rescue, once again, saving those who had forgotten to reserve a table for their loved one that evening.
Promohire was commissioned to deliver an iconic H-Van to be part of this activation, fully branded with the campaign messaging.
On February 14th, Snickers parked the bespoke Valentines Van on a busy Shoreditch High Street, asking the question ‘Need a table for tonight?’. Passers-by were invited to take a reservations card which would be their golden ticket to reserve a romantic table for 2 at the exclusive restaurant created with AMV Live of AMV BBDO ‘Oublié’ – meaning ‘forgotten’ in French.
Those lucky enough to secure a table, were welcomed to enjoy a complimentary 3 course meal with a French twist from one of London’s finest chefs, plus a glass of champagne.
The stunt reminded passers-by that Snickers is on hand to help the hungry and forgetful on Valentine’s day.
