Raptor announces recruitment for sixth Raptor Academy

Raptor, the global youth marketing agency, is recruiting the sixth cohort of young people for its free learning programme, Raptor Academy.
Returning for its sixth year, the three-month virtual programme supports 18-24 year olds across the UK, US and Europe in taking their first steps into marketing and the creative industries. Through bespoke workshops led by global industry experts, tailored mentorship and a creative project, participants gain first-hand exposure to how the marketing industry works.
David Burgman, CEO, said: “At Raptor we are constantly in conversation with young people, and there is a clear issue. Access to opportunity in the marketing industry is far from equal. Many young people interested in pursuing a career in marketing tell us they don’t even know where to start. We offer an opportunity for those facing barriers to entry or struggling to get their foot in the door. The Raptor Academy helps young people build their networks, and gain tangible insights that are transferable to whatever pathway they choose. We can’t wait to meet the class of 2026!”
The Academy is designed to break down barriers such as a lack of industry connections, financial constraints, and limited awareness of the diverse career paths available. Every young person, regardless of their background, location, or experience gains an accessible first step into the industry.
Participants take part in a series of interactive workshops led by global brand marketers, strategists and creatives. Sessions unpack real campaigns and projects, giving participants a clear view of how ideas are developed and brought to life.
As part of the academy, participants have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned by responding to a creative brief set by the Raptor team. For the Creative Project they produce a practical piece of work for their portfolio and receive structured feedback on completion. Cash prizes are awarded to winning and runner-up
projects. Completion of the Creative Project is not mandatory, but is required for internship consideration.
Raptor offers a number of internship opportunities across June-September to standout cohort members who show a strong commitment and excel in the Creative Project. Many Raptor team members began their careers through the academy, demonstrating the real opportunities that can come from completing the programme.
