Sipsmith and Ham Yard Hotel, have collaborated once more to bring a pioneering hot gin experience to London’s private roof terrace.
Back by popular demand, Hot Gin Roof will this year explore the theme of The Classics, Sipsmith master distiller, Jared Brown, and Ham Yard Hotel bar manager, Eoin Kenny, have collaborated to reimagine classic gin cocktails from the 1920’s. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a number of creations, from the ‘Hot Negroni’- using Sipsmith’s London Dry Gin, to the piping hot ‘Reverse Martini’ and the returning signature favourite the Hot G&T.
Master distiller Jared Brown says: “Sipsmith is a real celebration of where the old meets the new, with the spirit of London’s Gin heritage at its core. Just as I did for our original London Dry Gin recipe, I’ve been delving deep into the history books for inspiration. Last year, the Hot G&T was born at this event, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our twisted classics at the iconic Ham Yard Hotel.”
Eoin Kenny, bar manager at Ham Yard Hotel says: “Sipsmith London Dry Gin is a customer-favourite already and one of London’s best-loved gins, having trail-blazed the gin revival. Following last year’s sell-out success we couldn’t wait to work with Sipsmith again to create something exciting and new, and we think the Hot Negroni is a future classic.”
Hot Gin Roof will run from Friday 2oth January until Tuesday 14th February in timed sessions. Tickets include a complimentary welcome Hot G&T, followed by a cocktail of choice, and an introduction by one of the Sipsmith Distillery team.
