WiseOS, the operating system for modern workforce and field operations, has announced the appointment of Nigel Cruttenden as Chief Growth Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company enters its next phase of international growth.
A highly respected and well-known figure within the field marketing, brand experience and retail execution sectors, Cruttenden brings more than 20 years of industry experience to WiseOS, spanning technology, enterprise SaaS and retail execution. His career has seen him work with customers, partners and teams across global markets, including significant experience with Movista. This combination of deep sector knowledge and first-hand experience of technology within the industries WiseOS serves will be central to his new role. As Chief Growth Officer, Nigel will lead WiseOS’s global growth strategy, focusing on developing strategic partnerships, strengthening the company’s position within Field Marketing, Brand Experience and Retail Execution, and taking the WiseOS proposition into new sectors, customers and international markets.
His appointment comes at a pivotal stage in the development of WiseOS. The company has built a connected technology ecosystem that brings workforce management, field execution, intelligence and engagement together, creating a central source of truth for organisations managing complex workforces. While WiseOS has strong roots within field marketing, brand experience and retail execution, its technology has been designed to address operational challenges across a much broader range of industries, including facilities and workplace services, hospitality, promotional and experiential events, stadiums, festivals and other workforce-led sectors.
Nigel Cruttenden, Chief Growth Officer at WiseOS, said:
“The older I get, the more I realise that the best career decisions aren’t always about joining the biggest company. They’re about joining the right people, at the right time, with a vision you genuinely believe in. After more than 20 years working in retail execution and enterprise SaaS, I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible customers, partners and colleagues across the globe. Every role has taught me something, and every relationship has helped shape my journey. What stood out to me about WiseOS wasn’t just the technology. It was the ambition and the opportunity to help build something alongside a talented team with huge potential around the world. One of the things that really excites me is the breadth of the opportunity.
From Field Marketing and retail execution to facilities and workplace services, stadiums and festivals, hospitality, promotional and experiential events and beyond, these industries may look very different, but many face the same challenge: managing complex workforces and operations across disconnected systems, processes and data.
WiseOS brings that together, creating a central source of truth designed to streamline operations, improve execution and deliver real-time visibility and intelligence at scale. I’m excited to be joining the team and to play a part in taking that proposition to new customers and markets around the world.”
Mark Waddington, Founder and CEO of WiseOS, said:
“Nigel joining WiseOS is a significant moment for the business. He is incredibly well respected within the industries we serve and brings a rare combination of deep sector knowledge, commercial experience and an understanding of how technology can genuinely transform complex workforce and field operations.
We’ve known of Nigel and his work within the industry for many years, so having someone with his experience and reputation choose to join WiseOS at this stage of our journey is something we’re extremely proud of.
But this appointment is also about where we’re going next.
We have ambitious plans for WiseOS internationally and believe there is a significant opportunity to challenge the way organisations have traditionally managed their people, field operations and operational data.
I’m looking forward to working closely with him as we build the next phase of the business and take WiseOS to a much wider global market.”
