FMBE 2020 – guide to the finalists
Category A: Sales Campaign of the Year
This year the awards are being presented in online broadcast interviews with the finalists. The result of this category will be presented and revealed online in discussion with the finalists on Friday 29th January from 9am to 9.15am, and broadcast on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/fmbemag
What we love about the category
Sales is so direct, so accountable, leaves no room to hide. You have either made the sales strategy work, or you haven’t, there’s nothing in between. FMBE attracts the very best in field sales from brands that are immensely proud of their outsource partner. In the years since we started FMBE we have seen the category develop and reflect so that sales strategy and consistency has been seen to develop long term success stories.
What our judges love about this year’s finalists
Powerforce – Haribo
What makes a Golden Store and what is the benefit of achieving one? This team impressed our judges with a raft of insight that showed how Haribo’s bit for quality and consistency at convenience retail leads to dramatic positive sales effectiveness data.
REL Field Marketing – Danone Waters/ Red Bull
This team showed how to sell their way out of a potential crisis after the pandemic changed shopper behaviour. The continual monitoring of team wellbeing produced further insight into the personnel behind this determined sales effort.
Top Notch Sales – Cofresh
The agency and Indian snack brand leader Cofresh showed how a relatively small budget could still be used to build a cohesive sales strategy driven through wholesale, where one had one had not existed before and so reveal an excellent ROI that can indisputably be chalked up to the FM intervention.
