Showpad, the sales enablement platform for modern sellers, has welcomed Jim Preston, Iain Masson and Tim Norman into three new strategic roles within its London office. Together, they will be responsible for driving Showpad’s sales in the UK, cultivating high-performance teams that are focused on building relationships with enterprise and mid-market customers.
In just six months, Showpad has tripled the headcount in its London office, growing from 15 to 45 people, with plans to hire more in the coming months. Showpad is seeking a new London office to accommodate the quickly expanding team.
Jim Preston is Showpad’s director of mid-market sales. He joins the company from Salesforce, where he managed emerging business for Salesforce Marketing Cloud across EMEA, as well as its commercial business in emerging markets. Prior to that he worked with ExactTarget, the global SaaS-based digital marketing leader, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2013.
Iain Masson is Showpad’s director of enterprise sales. He previously held a series of high level sales and development roles within innovative technology companies, including retail software business TrueFit Corporation, leading cloud-based enterprise social marketing platform Shoutlet, and Vitrue, the leading social marketing platform offering software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
Tim Norman is director of business development. He has held similar roles previously, including seven years with ServiceMax – a pioneer in field service application software – from where he joins Showpad. ServiceMax was acquired by GE in 2017. Tim brings a wealth of leadership and domain experience, and has prospered in the type of hyper growth environment Showpad is in.
“Showpad is rapidly scaling its UK presence and enjoying incredible growth. The strong sales talent we’re attracting from other innovative companies will help us to continue this momentum and build strong relationships with key audiences in sectors including financial services, manufacturing, professional services and healthcare,” said Don Matejko, Showpad’s Chief Revenue Officer.“We’re excited to bring the value of sales enablement to more customers – enabling them to equip their teams with the sales content, coaching and training they need to create truly superior buyer experiences.”
