Recently launched sports marketing agency, Dark Horses, have been appointed by Yorkshire Tea to bring to life the brand sponsorship of the Tea20 Charity Cricket Challenge at The Oval on Thursday 22nd September.

There will be a fan friendly combination of youth and experience at the Yorkshire Tea20 Charity Challenge fixture; with both Sam Curran and Adam Hollioake confirmed to play for Surrey.

The pair join the recently announced Jason Roy and Kevin Pietersen in what is already looking like a pretty serious Surrey team, under the management of club legend Mark Butcher.

They will take on a Cricket United XI, managed by Michael Vaughan. The team are currently keeping their selection cards close to their chest but will no doubt pack a serious cricketing punch.

As well as aiming to raise money for Cricket United’s worthwhile causes, the game will once again act as an end of season party for the Kia Oval.

Dark Horses MD Simon Dent commented ‘It’s a huge honour to be working with Yorkshire Tea at this fantastic event. We hope that the fans attending have a great day and raise some serious money for the valuable charitable endeavours of Cricket United’

Kevin Sinfield from Yorkshire Tea commented “Dark Horses are a brand new agency and impressed us with their hunger, as well as their fresh thinking.  We’re looking forward to doing something different with them, that will help make this a day to remember.”
