GMR Marketing, a global sponsorship and experiential leader, announced the hiring of Megan Hanson as vice president of client consulting + services. As VP, Hanson will use her expertise in brand positioning, experiential design and digital engagement to create more meaningful connections between brands and consumers.
She joins GMR from Fame, where she was responsible for agency operations and financials, talent management, new business and leading core client relationships. She held various roles at Fame including VP managing director, VP group account director and management supervisor. Her clients included Target, Best Buy, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sally Beauty and Select Comfort.
Prior to Fame, Hanson spent seven years at WomanWise, a Minneapolis-based agency focused on marketing to women. She worked with clients such as Serta, Dunkin’ Donuts, Sargento, Schwan’s and Old Home Foods on their women’s marketing efforts.
