Multiply and Made merge

London-based experience agency Made is pleased to announce its merger with Scotland’s largest independent marketing communications agency, Multiply.

The union will see the two agencies operate under the Multiply name and combine both company’s talents to provide a fully integrated marketing service, from two UK sites. As part of this new chapter, the agency has appointed two new senior staff members: Kirsty Scerri, who joins from The Marketing Store as account director and Nick Noble, previously of BD Network & 999 Design, as business development director.

Managing director of Made, Dean Dempsey, will now be part of a group of five partners overseeing the new business, and will be based between Edinburgh and London, with Simon Sa-feio heading up the London office.

Drawn by Made’s innovative experience marketing legacy, and a growing rosta of clients based in the south, including Reckitt-Benckiser, Kimberly-Clark and Lactalis McLelland, Multiply, which was founded in 2003, already has a strong client-base in Scotland, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Highland Spring and Tennent’s Lager.

Dempsey commented: “We’re thrilled to make this announcement. We’ve married our talents to bring our clients the very best in Experience Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications. Our clients will benefit from working with an extended team of talented people and a broader spectrum of in-house services. We will, however, continue to always ensure that audience experience is at the heart of our business, but with the added bonus of now being able to deliver against every channel.”

Mark Fowlestone, a founding partner of Multiply said: “The most important ingredients of two successful agencies becoming one are respect and empathy. We have known Dean and the team at Made for years now and work together really well. The Made portfolio is awesome and no one thinks quite like their MD, Dean. I’m sure together with our integrated marketing reputation we’re going to be a pretty special force.”
