Tribal Worldwide London’s VW work wins BIMA Award

Tribal Worldwide London has won BIMA’s (British Interactive Media Association) coveted award for Product and Service Design: Craft for the work they’ve done in creating the Connected Customer Journey for Volkswagen UK.

This journey began in 2007 with a challenge from the CEO: “I want the best automotive digital platform in the world”. It has taken 10 years to complete, but Volkswagen are the first automotive brand to have a complete connected and omni-channel journey from a customer’s living room, all the way through to ownership and repurchase. The award was given in recognition of Tribal’s work with Volkswagen UK over the past decade, designing the digital ecosystem, pushing boundaries, embracing emerging technologies, and setting new standards of excellence to connect with customers through various touchpoints.

The award for Craft in Product and Service Design recognises flawless execution and celebrates work that demonstrates the best in creativity, craft, expertise and delivery. Judges look at the attention to detail, the creative idea, the craft, finesse, the ethos and mindset that led to the work being created.

Tom Roberts, CEO, Tribal Worldwide London says: “We continually strive to create and deliver strategy and work that connects brands with their customers and are very proud to be recognised for our activity with Volkswagen. We are focused on creating innovative and hardworking experiences that help businesses grow, and it has been an honour to be on this journey with such an iconic brand.”
