Pizza-lovers were treated to a taste of Papa John’s new ‘Papa’s Deep Crust’ in an unusual dining experience at London Underground’s deepest station

Lucky Londoners at the Underground’s deepest Tube station, Hampstead, were last night treated to Papa John’s new ‘Papa’s Deep Crust’ pizza, in a unique platform-dining experience.

Hampstead Tube station on the network’s Northern Line played host to a pizza party as slices of Papa John’s new ‘Papa’s Deep Crust’ pizza were delivered to the platform of the network’s deepest station to celebrate the launch of the pizza chain’s first ever deep crust pizza in the UK.

Diners tucked into ‘Papa’s Deep Crust’ pizzas during the unusual dining experience in the depths of the north London station. 58.5 metres below ground, uncomfortable benches were replaced by cosy sofas placed in front of screens showing box-set favourites to give a taste of a perfect Papa John’s night in.

Papa John’s also offered free slices of the new pizza) to Londoners outside Camden Papa John’s between 12.00pm and 3.00pm on Monday 11th September.
