Crowdfunding marketing communications agency, TribeFirst, and specialist PR agency, Panpathic, have together been selected by Virgin StartUp to help facilitate CrowdBoost, the first crowdfunding accelerator programme to be run by a trusted brand.
TribeFirst and Panpathic first formed a partnership in early 2016, with a mission to disrupt startup marketing and PR by offering national or international campaigns for startups while they are crowdfunding. The principle idea behind their offering is that startups can compete with big brands for this level of exposure while they’re raising money, since it serves a dual purpose of finding customers and investors at the same time.
This approach has resulted in them working with a select number of carefully selected clients in the crowdfunding space – drawn from hundreds of applications. They have successfully completed 27 campaigns, of which 23 were fully-funded or over-funded, with a success rate of 85.19%, making them the most experienced crowdfunding marketing communications agency in the UK, and the most experienced equity crowdfunding marketing communications agency in the world.
Virgin StartUp CrowdBoost is a seven-week accelerator programme designed to support entrepreneurs and businesses looking to raise funds and awareness through an equity crowdfunding campaign. Virgin StartUp CrowdBoost has been developed for ambitious entrepreneurs who are looking to leverage the power of the crowd to raise funds, raise awareness and build a tribe of evangelical customers who are emotionally and financially invested in their business.
TribeFirst’s Founder and CEO, John Auckland, has been selected to design the programme and run the weekly sessions. Panpathic’s CEO, Chantal Cooke, will run regular half day workshop on how participants can maximise their coverage during their crowdfunding campaign.
