Starcom announces the appointment of Louise Peacocke as managing partner.
Reporting to Hamid Habib, Starcom’s UK managing director, Peacocke will be a key member of the leadership team, where she will be responsible for delivering best-in-class products for the agency, leading senior relationships with top-tier clients and driving overall business growth for clients.
Peacocke’s digital background and breadth of experience will bring a fresh approach to client leadership. She is well versed in helping businesses adapt to the changing industry landscape and identifying the best opportunities for client growth.
Peacocke re-joins Starcom after seven years at MediaCom, where she oversaw a range of major client relationships, including Direct Line Group, NOW TV, Bayer, EON and Scope. Prior to MediaCom, she led the P&G Digital Agency of Record, housed within Starcom, which delivered the digital strategy and media execution for all P&G brands. She also spent two years working at Initiative in Los Angeles, where she was the Digital Vice President for their CPG and entertainment clients – including Dr Pepper Snapple Group, CBS and Lionsgate.
This hire is the latest example of Starcom’s ever-growing senior leadership team, which consists of the industry’s most passionate and leading talent. Earlier this year, Hamid Habib was appointed as Managing Director and Kay Martin as Managing Partner.
Hamid Habib, managing director, Starcom UK: “We’re delighted that Louise will be joining the leadership team. I know our clients and our people are going to love working with her. She is challenging, brave and has an infectious personality that will definitely bring the best out of the team.”
Louise Peacocke, managing partner, Starcom UK: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Starcom to lead their clients at such an exciting time for the agency. I’m looking forward to working with Hamid and his new leadership team – to help continue their successes and shape the future agenda for the agency.”
