Centaur Media, the team behind London’s annual Festival of Marketing, and James Grant Group have teamed up to bring a raft of household names to this year’s Festival, which takes place from the 10-11 October at Tobacco Docks.
The first of the panels takes place on World Mental Health Day (9.15am, 10 October) and seeks to deliver an important session that will focus on raising awareness around mental health on the Festival’s Headline Stage.
Chaired by Dr Pixie McKenna, the session sees Fearne Cotton, Mary Portas and Kem Cetinay openly discussing their individual experiences and views on the subject.
The second of the panels takes place on day two (10.15am, 11th October) and examines how brands can partner most effectively with talent to tap into popular culture and reach highly engaged audiences.
Chaired by leading TV broadcaster Eamonn Holmes (OBE) this session sees TV stars Emma Willis, Amanda Holden and Marvin Humes sharing their own personal experiences of working with brands, alongside Leon Harlow, James Grant’s director of brands.
Chris Chapman, events and festival director at Centaur Media, commented; “With 76% of marketers increasing their spend on talent and influencers in 2018 we knew it was a topic that would really resonate with our audience, so we’re thrilled to have some of the UK’s best known stars heading down to discuss the best approaches for brands looking to see the best results.”
He continued; “We also wanted to mark the fact that the Festival kicks off on World Mental Health Day. It’s such an important issue for us as a Festival, the brands and marketers we serve, and most importantly their audiences. As such, Pixie McKenna heading up such a fantastic panel feels like the perfect opener.”
