Mental health charity appoints DAM Digital

National mental health charity, Rethink Mental Illness, has appointed DAM Digital to transform its online presence in a bid to improve access to the charity’s free advice and information, and help drive donations.
The appointment, which follows a competitive pitch, will see DAM Digital working with the charity to analyse its existing digital strategy and craft a new one to increase engagement across all of its channels. A key part of the strategy will be creating a new website for the charity that delivers a better experience both in terms of functionality and content.
Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that improves the lives of people severely affected by mental illness through local groups and services, expert information and training, and successful campaigning.
They are a charity provider of mental health services in England and support tens of thousands of people. They also train employees, employers and members of the public on how best to support someone affected by mental illness.
Lara King, head of communications at Rethink Mental Illness said: “From the outset, DAM Digital showed a clear understanding and a passion to help us achieve our aims. We want a new website that will, above all, make all our expert advice and information on mental illness more easily accessible to those who need it. We are confident DAM Digital can help us do this and we are pleased to be working with them.”
Peter Cameron, managing director at DAM Digital said: “Our ambition is to provide a genuine step change in customer experience for Rethink Mental Illness and their users so they can continue to carry out their vital work. As we begin to understand their business more and more we are amazed by the impact and reach they have and are determined to provide real ROI.”
