Survey Anyplace makes strides with Miele contract

Miele has armed its Benelux sales force with Survey Anyplace mobile surveys to increase sales through better market insights.

“With mobile surveys from Survey Anyplace, collecting customer and competitor data has become a simple matter of our sales people asking for another minute of time after a sales meeting,” says Cees Manneke, Miele’s e-commerce manager.

“They hand the iPad to their customer who answers a few questions and hits ‘finish,’ which submits their answers automatically. Nearly everyone we asked completed our survey…a far cry from the response rate we used to get with paper data collection.” Using Survey Anyplace mobile surveys to collect data minimizes the impact that unresponsive customers have on Miele’s market research. Miele harnesses the real-time, actionable information they can only collect using today’s ever-present mobile devices, without the design, printing and postage costs that used to slow down the entire process. Survey Anyplace mobile surveys provide insights unavailable via any other means. It puts mobile first; it isn’t optimized for mobile.

Capturing the brand experience in real-time, it provides never-before-available insights, such as photos demonstrating product usage.

“We created Survey Anyplace and our surveys and quizzes specifically for today’s smartphones and tablets,” says Stefan Debois, CEO of Survey Anyplace. “People are accustomed to interacting with their mobile devices, so answering a few quick questions on one feels natural and familiar.” “Building our survey on Survey Anyplace was quite simple,” concluded Manneke. “We chose from beautiful, intuitively designed templates that we branded with the Miele logo. The site guided us through the survey creation process step by step. We had a great-looking survey—that didn’t require an app—in no time. In less than a month, we collected statistically significant customer and competitor intel that was fed in real-time into a centralized database.”
