Meadowhall invests in Ho Ho Hosts

Meadowhall, Sheffield is investing in specialised staffing in the run up to Christmas. Adopting World Host Training – used to train the Olympian helpers for London 2012 – as the basis for a Christmas boot camp, the scheme will provide an elite squad of dedicated customer service specialists to work across the Centre during the peak trading days of Christmas going above and beyond the normal level of service.
The hosts will assist at every step of the customer journey, from meeting and greeting to helping with shopping bags.
Meadowhall has also been studying the number and types of questions that customer service teams and its TellMeadowhall helpline have had to field during festive periods to ensure the new team have the right answers at their fingertips.
