Crown support Graduate Fashion Week Awards Show

Creative communications and live events agency Crown have lent their support to Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) and will be producing their Awards Show, a celebratory culmination of the week’s eclectic and creative mix of inspiring talks, catwalk shows and exhibitions.
Now in its twenty fourth year, GFW is the world’s leading event for fashion graduates. Founded in 1991 by Jeff Banks CBE, Vanessa Denza MBE and John Walford, the charity aims to bridge the gap between graduation and employment, creating exciting industry opportunities for the nation’s talented fashion graduates. Open to the general public, GFW attracts creatives working across the fashion sector, featuring pop-ups, live photo shoots, and interactive talks all of which make Graduate Fashion Week a must-see event in the fashion calendar.
Closing the week is the acclaimed Awards Show, celebrating the work of up and coming graduate fashion designers. Winners are awarded bursaries for themselves and their universities to continue their fashion journey and cultivate the next generation of talent. Judges not only look for exceptional design and innovation, but also originality, flair and forward-thinking individuals who can challenge and make a difference to the fashion industry with their collections.
Crown will be producing the Awards Show, working with the GFW team to plan, coordinate and bring together operations to ensure the night’s success. The project is being led by Crown’s executive producer, Casey Evans, herself a pioneer and champion of the creative industries.

Through their work with Sony, Crown have also secured Sony’s sponsorship of the Awards Show, providing their new cutting-edge 4K TV screens to enhance the front row experience. 4K is the next evolutionary technology in picture quality, offering four times superiority and detail than that of full HD TVs.
