Guinness World Records strengthens experiential offering

Guinness World Records, the global authority on record-breaking, has expanded its commercial team with the recruitment of Mark Kelly into the newly created position of business development manager – Live. Mark’s remit will be to support and grow GWR Live!, Guinness World Records’ experiential offering.
Launched in 2015, GWR Live! gives audiences the chance to practice, attempt and break fun, accessible Guinness World Records titles in a live environment. As well as working with event organisers, brands and agencies, GWR Live! has also formed part of the entertainment programme at high profile events such as Sports Relief, The Gadget Show Live, Minecon and Lego festival, Brick. Staff engagement is also a rapidly growing sector for the business with GWR Live! offering record-breaking team-building challenges in a range of settings including CSR programmes, annual conferences and Christmas parties. In addition, the company delivers experiential events to shopping centres, holiday parks and other family-friendly destinations.
Mark joins Guinness World Records from Clipper Events which offers corporate clients the chance to experience the thrill of big boat racing. Prior to that Mark worked in the meetings and incentive divisions of leading hotel groups including NH Hotels & Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
