Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Eldon Garden Shopping Centre

Independent Events ventured down the rabbit hole this half term holiday with an experiential activation in Eldon Garden Shopping Centre, providing an Alice In Wonderland Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to entertain the crowds of families.
Trained costumed characters playing Alice, The Queen of Hearts, The White Rabbit and The Mad Hatter spent the day carrying out scripted performances and taking part in amazing meet and greets with the audience. This interactive approach meant that children and parents were able to not only see these characters perform but speak to them about what they’ve been doing in Wonderland, and even get a free lollipop treat and photo with Alice and the gang.
Independent Events sourced and provided the actors and props for the activation which included everything from huge sandwiches, drinks, treats and sweets to a pink flamingo for a spot of croquet. No stone was left unturned to ensure this event was successful and the feedback both online and at the live event reflected this, with more activations of this nature in the pipeline for Independent Events as a result.
