Momentum Worldwide appoints director of creative strategy

Momentum Worldwide has appointed Dean Taylor, formerly head of retention and customer insight at Virgin Active, to the newly created role of director of creative strategy.
Reporting to Luke D’Arcy, Momentum Worldwide’s UK President, Taylor will oversee Momentum Worldwide’s team of planners and digital strategists across the London and Manchester offices. He will be responsible for working with the agency’s global and UK clients such as American Express, Coca-Cola, Asda and Microsoft. In addition to this, he will manage the agency’s proprietary research programme and strategic development tools.
The new role will see Taylor leverage customer and business intelligence to improve consumer engagement, sponsorships and partnerships.
Luke D’Arcy, Momentum Worldwide’s UK president, who met Taylor during his time at KLP Euro RSCG said; “Dean’s mix of client and agency experience makes him a great addition to the business. Given his work at brands like Sony, Nokia, Britvic and Virgin he is a unique blend of creative, planner and strategist. He is one of the smartest guys in the industry and understands you can’t block an experience.

Before joining Momentum Worldwide, Taylor worked for the Virgin Group for nine years. Prior to this, Taylor was global marketing manager for Sony Ericsson where he managed the Sony mobile placements globally for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and was UK sponsorship manager at Nokia.
