Nerds seen on screens ahead of Gummy Monster experiential activation and UK Superbowl ads

From now until February 16th, Nerds is lighting up the iconic Piccadilly Lights with a bold, colourful, and larger-than-life 3D OOH experience.

This deepscreen takeover happens every hour at 20 minutes past. The Picadilly lights transform into a cluster-filled colourful delight with a giant 3D Nerds Gummy Cluster packet hanging off the side.

The ad kicks off in a vibrant, candy-filled world where the Nerds Gummy Monster – a sweet fun-loving chewy character covered in crunchy Nerds – comes to life.

Nerds is also lighting up the big screens nationwide including the Cromination in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool (motion and static). Plus, the campaign extends across multiple paid brand socials, digital displays, CTV, BVOD, TV.

Beyond the Piccadilly Lights, Ners is making a game-winning play globally with a bold Super Bowl appearance. Nerds is kicking off two 30” network spots during ‘Super Bowl LIX’ on ITV1 – one early spot and one during the legendary halftime show. Nerds is also going for the extra point by taking over the YouTube Masthead for 24 hours during the Super Bowl.

Nerds fans will have a chance to get involved in the fun too. On a mystery day within the week of February 10th the Gummy Monster touches down in London roaming the streets, and ready for selfies. Fans who spot him, snap a pic, and post it with #NERDSGummyMonster get a hance to win a pair of NFL London tickets, Nerds and NFL merchandise or a year’s supply of NERDS Gummy Clusters.

The activation is instore too. Fans can also be in with a chance to win a pair of NFL London tickets by simply scanning a QR code placed on Nerds signs across multiple retailers in the UK including Sainsburys and Tesco – live until 21st March.
