SpaceandPeople FMBE Best Use of Space Award
Supported by £25,000 value first prize from Network Rail
The Best Use of Space award has been brought to shortlist stage with 8 finalists still in the mix of the prestigious award and Network Rail’s exceptional prize.
The shortlist was a tricky one to get onto with a several stand out entries that did not quite make it through.
Frank Wainwright, FMBE director comments “This award saw some amazing entries that came in aiming to win – obviously – but also to support this amazing initiative and to encourage this exceptional level of support from the award sponsor and prize team. Consequently, our judges were rewarded with a broad variety of interpretations and executions of the best use of space brief and for FMBE we have a category that really celebrates a range of events, styles of delivery and locations.”
The shortlist has seen two cunningly built and versatile stands for festivals and outdoor events (for All Out Beauty and L.L.Bean), two highly-effective shopping centre/ city centre activations (for JBL and Mentos), two very different creative uses of train stations (for Bookatable and Sky Q) and two brave events that popped up for Crème Egg, one in Soho (Jackanory), one in Loch
Ness (MKTG).
