Bluewater hosts experiential activations this Summer

Landsec, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, has announced Bluewater’s new family orientated summer activities, which are focused on delivering a memorable day out experience for guests throughout the season.
Leading the line-up is the Beach at Bluewater. Guests of all ages can take advantage of sandcastle building, deckchairs, a giant paddling pool, splash pool and sea-side inspired treats. Also on offer is a range of rides, including a carousel, helter skelter and bumper cars, as well as beach bouncers, a rollercoaster, zorb-style water balls, and more.
The Beach joins a host of additional activities available for families to join in with this summer at Bluewater, with other highlights including the Gromit Character Trail, which takes guests on a journey to see twelve giant colourful Gromit sculptures that have been unleashed in Bluewater’s malls.
Guests can also follow Bluewater’s award-winning Nature Trail, enjoying the stunning lakes and parkland, which have been presented with a Green Flag Award by Keep Britain Tidy for the second year running. The Green Flag recognises the exceptional quality of Bluewater’s green spaces and beautiful lakes, which are a haven for wildlife.
To help guests make the most of Bluewater’s unique external spaces, and to learn more about the many rare species that have made them their home, Bluewater is hosting three free Nature Fun Days, with falconry displays, face painting, balloon modelling and nature-inspired crafts over the coming weeks.
Robert Goodman, Bluewater’s general manager, said: “The exceptional range of family activities on offer this summer provide additional reasons to visit and enjoy Bluewater. Our extensive lakes and parkland are a genuine point of difference and, complemented by the Beach at Bluewater, we have a unique day out offer that is unrivalled across the region.” .
The Beach will be open until 3 September 2017.
