McCurrach announces new CEO

McCurrach have announced the appointment of Jill Ross as chief executive to succeed Angus Maciver with effect from the 6th August.
Jill joins McCurrach from Unilever where she is currently Global vice president responsible for the creation and implementation of Unilever’s strategy in category and channel development, omnichannel execution and commercial capability.
Tony Smith, chairman of McCurrach comments: “We are delighted to have appointed Jill to the role of chief executive. Jill has a depth of experience in key leadership roles and is the right person to lead our business into the future and enable us to deliver our joint mission – to help our clients to sell more.”
After seven successful years as chief executive of McCurrach, Angus Maciver, has decided that the time is now right for him to take a step back from the day-to-day business. He will continue to remain an active member of the McCurrach Group as a Non-executive director, ensuring that there is continuity for key client relationships.
Of the announcement, Angus adds: “I’ve known Jill for over 10 years, I’m really excited about her joining McCurrach, and I look forward to working closely with her over the coming years.”
Jill has worked closely with the McCurrach business throughout her career, and in addition to her role within Unilever, she is also the Chair of the Board of Trustees and a member of the senior Policy Issues Council of the IGD. She has extensive sales and leadership experience in the UK and Ireland, and as a result is a perfect choice as CEO for McCurrach.
