Prophet brings Fred Geyer to the UK

Fred Final [1221621]Global brand and marketing consultancy Prophet has announced its New York based Senior Partner Fred Geyer is to relocate to London to spearhead European growth.  Geyer’s focus will be in pharmaceuticals. He will head up Prophet’s European presence with responsibility for growing new and existing clients’ businesses across Europe. His work includes clients such as Zurich, Electrolux, Eli Lilly and Teva.

Geyer, head of Prophet’s Growth Strategy Team, moves to Prophet’s London office this month.  Prior to joining Prophet, he was Senior Managing Principal at Zyman Group identifying business solutions and driving organic growth for Fortune 500 companies.

Most recently in New York,  Geyer worked with Chan Suh, senior partner in the U.S., to pioneer the creation of the world’s first ‘Brand Operating System’ for the life sciences,  integrating brand strategy, customer experience, content and customer insight/data. Prior to his time at Prophet US he was Senior Vice President Marketing at Electrolux – a current Prophet client.

The focus of Geyer’s consulting work has been in companies that have multiple channels, multiple influencers and decision-makers and a complicated path to purchase.  In particular, Geyer has been working on how digital has been changing the dynamics of marketing in industries such as insurance, healthcare and consumer appliances.

In his general manager role at Crayola, Geyer doubled sales in Southern Europe. He is a regular writer and speaker on customer-driven growth and has recently spoken at Boston University, Columbia and Telecoms industry conferences.

Fred Geyer said: “I am delighted to be joining Prophet’s European team.  One of the main challenges that leading companies face is becoming more relevant in a world that is becoming more digital.  That poses a host of both opportunities as well as disruptive risks that must be addressed.”

Rune Gustafson from Prophet said: “We are excited to have Fred join our European team. His leadership and expertise will help accelerate growth for our new and existing clients.”
