Award winning Peugeot campaign is declared a Youtube success

A viral video that was devised to intrigue audiences in advance of a shopping centre test drive tour has been reveals as the second most popular advert of the year for UK viewers of Youtube. The advert and consequent success of the tour was awarded a Gold at FMBE 2012 for integration and amplification, with award’s presenter George Lamb handing the trophy to Chris Wareham, head of experiential at Initials Marketing, the agency that had devised the brand experience campaign.

According to Chris, “Peugeot’s Let your body drive campaign was phenomenal in that it married digital, experiential and above-the-line to create a compelling call to action. The success of the viral is obviously down to the clip’s engaging storyline and our choices of dancer Marquese Scott and Rudimental track Feel the love. But it’s also testament to the power of a skilfully executed multichannel push that resonated with its target audience at multiple touchpoints.”
