Elevate Staffing gets set for mental health Webinar

Event date: Tuesday 19th May at 5PM

Elevate Staffing is set to follow up its global staff survey with a Webinar discussing mental health.

Carina Filek, global COO, Elevate shared the event reasoning with FMBE.

“As a global agency, we have witnessed the worldwide impact of COVID-19 on the events industry first-hand. Our field talent was among the hardest hit; unable to deliver unforgettable live experiences. With this in mind, we felt it was our responsibility to reach out to them and offer help, but we didn’t want to make assumptions as to what they needed or wanted. So, we decided to do something simple – we asked.

We surveyed approx. 60,000 event staff globally and the results were clear, more than 40% of respondents were thinking negatively about their current situation. This didn’t come as a surprise to us, however a significant number of respondents told us that they were interested in resources to improve their mental wellbeing and professional outlook.”

Filek told FMBE’s Frank Wainwright that some 6000 staff had responded to the survey from the US, UK, Germany and France.

Filek further outlined the premise of the event: “Wellness has always been a priority for Elevate, even more so over the last two years. During this time, our agency teams from around the globe have undergone Quality of Mind training to give them tools to navigate what can be a challenging and stressful world.

The positive effect from this training has been undeniable. Each day I can clearly see how my colleagues have benefited. And they tell me so too. Personally, the impact has been transformational. My approach to mindset and thinking has radically changed for the better. I am thrilled that we are bringing this opportunity to our field talent teams as a direct response to Elevate’s research, through a live global webinar Tuesday May 19th – #elevatingpeople. ”
