Eurowings and partners appoint collab-ed creative communications agency for UK Summer campaign

europa park littleEurowings, Europa-Park, Stuttgart Airport, and the State Tourist Board Baden- Württemberg are once again partnering to promote their destinations andbrands in the UK and have appointed London based collab-ed Communication Creatives to deliver their UK Summer campaign.
The integrated marketing campaign will be rolled out across the nation’s capital early this Summer and will focus around OOH, social, experiential, video, and digital media touch points.
OOH elements will consist of an iconic London bus being wrapped in campaign artwork along with additional advertising on a further 50 London buses. These buses will be on the roads from mid-July to promote the social media campaign around the hashtag #nexstop.
The social media campaign will be seeded with campaign content, also from mid-July, telling the story of how partners Eurowings, Europa-Park, Stuttgart Airport, and the State Tourist Board Baden- Württemberg are flying Europa-Park’s mascot, Ed Euromaus, to London for his first trip to the UK,
where he will tour the city on the campaign branded London bus.
The experiential weekend of 30th/31st July 2016 will see Ed arriving in London and asking Londoners to help him board his bus by identifying its location in real-time. The social media campaign will encourage people to tweet using the hashtag #nextstop, stating where they have seen the campaign
bus, which route it is on, or even capture photos of it passing by.
After the experiential weekend the social media campaign will feature the best of all user generated content along with a campaign video documenting Ed’s first visit to London, before transforming the campaign hashtag into a call to action for UK fans to make Europa-Park, via Eurowings, their #nextstop this Summer.
The campaign will be supported by digital media coverage from media partner the Londonist and further media outlets. “We’re thrilled to be working with Eurowings and partners on this exciting campaign and can’t wait to let more UK fans in on the secret that is Europe’s Number 1 theme park, Europa-Park!” says Nichola Kirkman, Creative Director of collab-ed.
