VOXI, a new mobile offering created by Vodafone, was unveiled at a high-profile launch event in east London last Thursday night (31 August). The A-list crowd of celebrities, influencers and press were treated to an opening set from Capital DJ, Will Manning, followed by live performances from the UK’s number one artist, Dua Lipa and Liam Payne of One Direction fame. The acts were interspersed with high tech projection artwork effects and visuals, creating an immersive experience for guests. The evening then moved on to an after show at the adjoining Boiler House, featuring DJ sets from The Disciples and Maya Jane Coles, and beverages supplied by Diageo.
The launch has been led by a comprehensive inter-agency team comprising FreemanXP (brand activation), Fuse – part of the Omnicom Media Group UK (project and event delivery, on-site guest management), Global (secured headline talent), Latimer (recruitment and management of VOXI creator community members, curator and influencer talent), MEC & MEC Wavemaker (social and paid media, live stream and behind-the-scenes content production), Mischief (PR), Ogilvy (creative including design, branding, partnerships and content creation), TMW Unlimited (creative including customer engagement and collaborations with VOXI creators), and Wayin (created digital platform for pre-event competition).
