intu Trafford Centre lit up by Union J

Four-piece boy-band, Union J, flicked the switch on more than £1M of decorations yesterday evening in front of thousands of excited shoppers at intu Trafford Centre in Manchester in a special hour-long event.

Also there was Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts singing ‘Nessun Dorma’, X Factor finalist Chloe Jasmine, The Snowman and The Snowdog plus other acts adding to the excitement.

Union J singer JJ Hamblett said: “We couldn’t wait to switch on the lights at intu Trafford Centre this year. The Manchester crowd are always so much fun. JLS and Olly Murs have done it before and to follow in their footsteps is really exciting. It was great getting our fans in the Christmas spirit and performing for everyone. What a great night.”
