Jameson Caskmates teams up with Disappearing Dining Club for an immersive pairing

To celebrate Jameson’s unique new whiskey aged in craft beer barrels, Jameson Caskmates have partnered with their mates at Disappearing Dining Club to host an immersive evening on Wednesday September 7th.
Taking over Hoxton’s Geffrye Street Studios guests will be treated to a line-up of classic pairs throughout the evening – from the food and the music to the drinks.
Jameson Caskmates is one of Jameson’s innovations, which brings the ultimate classic pairing – whiskey and beer – together. After a chance meeting in a pub between Jameson Master Distiller, Brian Nation and Fransiscan Well Founder & Head Brewer, Shane Long, a plan was hatched for Jameson to begin ageing whiskey in the Cork brewer’s craft beer barrels. Fast forward six months of ageing and a new taste sensation was born.
The event, created by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will be hosted at the Geffrye Street Studios on September 7th. Whiskey lovers will be guided through a unique, sensory Jameson Caskmates tasting experience featuring Fransiscan Well beer, by Jameson’s own experts. Guests will get to explore the distinctive flavours of this new whiskey. As part of the experience, guests will also have the chance to create their own Jameson Caskmates drinks (as well as getting to try some other whiskey and beer cocktails), all whilst the creative wizards at Disappearing Dining Club serve up an incredible three course, ‘classic pairs’ feast. DJ pair Amp & Deck will also be on hand to soundtrack the night.
