Love Hearts in store for Honda’s promotion

Honda has teamed up with UK confectionery king Swizzels Matlow for a retro influenced sales campaign.

The Japanese car giant has partnered with the Derbyshire-based sweet makers to use its iconic Love Hearts imagery for Honda’s nationwide sales promotion for the Jazz, CR-V and Insight models.

Love Hearts feature on all advertising material for the campaign. The slogan “Your Honda, Your Way” refers to customers choosing from three incentives when buying a new model.

Swizzels Matlow has also provided mini rolls of Love Hearts for Honda’s network of dealerships, to provide showroom visitors with an extra sweet treat.

Commenting on the Honda collaboration, Jeremy Dee, director at Swizzels Matlow, said:

“When Honda approached us with a view to using Love Hearts in their campaign we were more than happy to agree. We’re proud to be associated with such a prestigious company. Our iconic brand imagery will feature across all of their marketing activity and will help raise our profile in the run up to Valentine’s Day.”

Previous Swizzels Matlow collaborations have included Virgin Atlantic and Unilever with the launch of its Impulse Loving Words body fragrance.

Swizzels Matlow is the UK’s largest family-owned independent sugar confectionery business and one of the few confectionery companies to still manufacture sweets in the UK. The company makes a range of well known products including Love Hearts, New Refreshers, Drumstick Lollies, Rainbow Drops, Double Lollies and Fruity Pops.
