Mim-Mim set for intu shopper tour

intu, the leading owner and manager of prime regional shopping centres in the UK, is bringing big bunny Mim-Mim, star of the popular animated CBeebies series, Kate & Mim-Mim to its centres for a big bunny bonanza. Starting on 31st March at intu Milton Keynes, Mim-Mim will tour 14 intu branded centres throughout the Easter period.

Roger Binks, customer experience director of intu, said: “As the UK’s only national shopping centre brand, intu is able to work with leading children’s entertainment names such as CBeebies, to give their most popular shows and characters a truly national presence. Our powerful brand enables us to collaborate and deliver activities to surprise and delight our loyal customers.”

Over half the UK population visits an intu centre every year and at Easter, intu’s family friendly environments provide the perfect place to entertain children. This year’s Easter campaign which will feature a meet and greet with Mim-Mim himself, fun activities, goodies including a CBeebies activity booklet, and a competition with the chance to win exclusive prizes such as a brand new DVD release and an extra special Mim-Mim plush.

Members of intu’s Kids Club will receive a free Kate & Mim-Mim ‘Funny Bunny Friend’ sampler DVD when presenting their membership card or when signing up. Over 14,000 customers are members of an intu Kids Club which offers benefits such as invitations to exclusive events and new members joining this Easter will also receive a Mim-Mim goody bag.

Children will also be able to visit intu.co.uk to play interactive games such as ‘Pop! Pop! Peaches and get ready for their centre visit. Free meet and greet tickets will also be available to book online and a limited number of additional free tickets will be available in centre on the day.
