Omega hire Provision Events at The Ryder Cup

omega-ryder-cup-provision-littleProvision Events was hired by Omega, the official timekeeper of the 2016 Ryder Cup, to design, build and manage a bespoke putting activity for their guests at four events around the world. This week at The Ryder Cup will be the last stop of the tour.

Provision Events developed an engaging time based putting competition by creating bespoke software and building a top of the range putting hole along with providing a branded Omega golf bag, golf balls and putters.

The start of the tour began in Switzerland at The Olympic museum and then Provision Events took the experience to 2 of golf’s largest events in 2016 – The 2016 The US PGA Championship and onto The Olympics at The Olympic Golf Tournament.

Provision Events were at The Olympics in a double capacity, setting up an entire Fan Zone consisting of hitting nets, putting zones and golf simulators in partnership with Bridgestone and the International Golf Federation.

To kick start the week’s proceedings at The Ryder Cup, Omega, had their ambassador Michael Phelps officially open the Planet Omega Ryder Cup putting activity.

Nick Clemens, Director of Provision said “we are very proud to have been asked to design and produce this activity for Omega and to the have the opportunity to take this experience to these major sporting events has been a brilliant experience for the team’.
