Over 100 shops, bars and restaurants participated in Seven Dials #StyleSaturday event on 11 June. A variety of experiential activities were on offer throughout the day. Over 90,000 people visited Seven Dials to celebrate everything that’s stylish including fashion, food, music and shopping with footfall up 48% on the previous week.
The area was traffic free and filled with entertainment and the iconic central dial monument was transformed into an urban garden complete with pop-up tepee and green lawn with deckchairs. Across the seven streets the area and brands hosted a series of free activities including live music, free cake and flower crowns to celebrate the Queens birthday, fashion illustrations, giant letter stencilling, strawberries and cream and free G&T’s from a pop-up Sipsmith Gin Garden.
An exclusive ‘In conversation with’ Q&A session was hosted with brands from the village including Cambridge Satchel Company Mens, Murdock, Serge Denimes, Native and Tredwell’s. In addition, ‘flash sales’ from Seven Dials iconic brands took part including Another Space, Caudalie, Talli Joe, Natural Selection and B1866.
Street food snacks were on offer at the Earlham Street Food Hub with new tenants taking part including cocktail and a pizza bar, The Escapologist, Sicilian offerings from Casanova and Daughters and Italian gourmet gelato from Gelupo.

Visitors to Seven Dials also had the opportunity to give something back to the community raising money for London’s leading homelessness charity The Connection. Seven Dials chosen charity partner for 2016.
